Coaching Agile Transitions is an advanced knowledge-based certification from IC Agile. The ICP-CAT course enables you to pursue professional mastery of enterprise coaching for agility. It also empowers you to build highly effective enterprise coaching competencies and large group facilitation skills to assist agile transitions at an organisational level.

Course Schedule

This course consists of 16 hours of remote training delivered over four days (4 hours per session).

This allows participants time to process, reflect, practice new learnings, raise questions, and helps to maximise the learning outcome.

Who should attend an ICP-CAT course?

This certification was designed for enterprise, programme, and team-level Agile Coaches, Agile Team Facilitators, or anyone aspiring to these roles. It is also relevant for professionals with a strong background in change management and/or organisational design who have a curiosity about agile approaches at the enterprise level.

This is an intermediate level course. Therefore, ICP-ATF and/or ICP-ACC qualifications or 3+ years working in an Agile environment would be recommended.

On-demand Introduction to Agile & Scrum

This online, on-demand modular training is a high-impact video course covering why modern organisations need a new approach to business, as well as exploring the Theory, Practices, and Rules of Scrum.

Delegates will automatically be enrolled onto this on-demand course upon registration to the ICAgile Coaching Agile Transitions training.

Pre-requisites & Certification

There are no hard prerequisites for attending this training. However, as this is an intermediate-level course for practitioners, delegates should have 3+ years of agile experience. Coaching experience is not required but is preferred. We will build upon the experience you already have working with agile teams.

Full attendance and participation is mandatory. There is no exam on this course. Throughout the course, delegates will be formally assessed by the trainer to ensure the certification criteria are met.

Delegates will achieve the learning outcomes through participation in online sessions with a unique mix of classroom-based learning and the opportunity to practice what you’ve learnt in online breakout rooms with your peers.  

Upon successful completion, attendees will be registered for the ICAgile ICP-CAT certification.

What tools do I need?

We will be using Zoom, Mural and Trello for the online training. We require delegates to use a laptop, computer or device with a large screen to ensure you can participate without the limitations of using a smaller device. Reliable internet connection is vital.

How is the course delivered?

We teach the ICAgile Coaching Agile Transitions (ICP-CAT) certification using remote facilitation and training techniques and online tools such as Zoom and Mural. Our collaborative experience will also enable you to leverage these tools within your own Agile Coaching Practice.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is possible up to one month before the start of a course without cost. After that point, the full course fee is due independent of whether the registered person takes part in the course or not. Participants can be substituted without charge.

This virtual CAT course provides you with a highly immersive learning experience. It focuses on the field of Enterprise Coaching for Agility, explores the key elements of agile transformation, and links the core enterprise coaching competencies in a way that empowers coaches to act as agents of change in organisations.

It provides a systemic coaching approach to agility by engaging people in the whole process and expands your skills in executive coaching and agile transformation as well as accelerating your understanding of organisational development and change implementation.

How does online training differ to an in-person course?

The course structure and content itself is very similar. The Learning Outcomes are the same, as is the Certification. Being a live delivery, we include many more breaks. We have also amended the in-person course with exercises more appropriate and effective for an online/remote experience.
