Prerequisites
Everyone can take this course with no restrictions on registration. However, to earn the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance, you must meet the following requirements:

Hold the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) status

Have one year’s experience working as a Product Owner
This course requires a minimum attendance of 16 hours. As long as the A-CSPO prerequisites are met, full attendance and participation will result in registration as an Advanced Certified Product Owner.
Is there an exam?
There is no exam required to earn this certification. However, to register for your A-CSPO certification, you will need the following:
- Hold a valid CSPO certificate
- Before attending the training, there may be some pre-reading required, which will be sent out before the course takes place
- Complete the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner course trained by a path to CSP Educator
- Provide at least 12 months of demonstrated Product Owner experience by uploading your role-specific expertise to your Scrum Alliance Profile at the end of the course.
This course is accredited by the Scrum Alliance®. After completing the course and meeting its objectives, participants will earn the Advanced Certified Product Owner® certification.
