Who is this course for?
This course is designed for the Scrum Master who has the desire to grow their skill set and become more confident in the concepts and techniques necessary to progress their career. For those looking to differentiate themselves from the pack, A-CSM certification arms Scrum Masters with new skills and also an industry-recognised distinction from other Scrum Masters.

Prerequisites
Everyone is welcome to take this course, and there are zero restrictions on registering for the class. However, to be registered for the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster certification with the Scrum Alliance, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) status
- Have one year’s experience working as a Scrum Master
This course requires a minimum attendance of 16 hours. As long as the A-CSM prerequisites are met, full attendance and participation will result in registration as an Advanced Certified Scrum Master.
Exam
There is no exam required to earn this certification, but in order to register for your A-CSM certification, you will need the following:
- Hold a valid CSM certificate
- Before attending the training, we request that you complete the A-CSM pre-course work. It is important that you do this to get the most from your training.
- Complete the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster course trained by a path to CSP Educator
- Provide at least 12-months of demonstrated Scrum Master experience by uploading your role-specific expertise to your Scrum Alliance Profile at the end of the course.
This course is accredited by the Scrum Alliance®, and on successful completion of this class and it’s learning objectives; participants will receive the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster® certification.
CPD also accredits the class; if you wish to receive a CPD certificate, please contact us upon registration of your A-CSM with the Scrum Alliance.
What do I need?
In-Person Courses
- You do not need to bring a laptop or other equipment. A comprehensive workbook will be provided to all attendees.
- Refreshments, including lunch are included.
Online Courses
- We require delegates to use a laptop, computer or device with a large screen to ensure you can participate without the limitations of using a smaller device.
- A reliable internet connection is vital.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation is possible up to two weeks before the start of a course without cost. After that point, the full course fee is due regardless of whether the registered person participates in the course. Participants can be substituted without charge.

Are refreshments included?
A complimentary continental breakfast will be served from 08:30; a hot buffet at lunchtime and fresh fruit, snacks and hot drinks are available throughout the day.
If you have any dietary requirements, please email us no later than five days prior to training to ensure your needs can be accommodated at training@agilecentre.com.
What should I wear?
The training is highly interactive and will involve lots of participation. You are invited to dress comfortably (jeans, trainers and even shorts & sandals will be perfectly fine!).
