Prerequisites
Everyone is welcome to take this course, and there are zero restrictions on registering for the class. However, to be registered for the Certified Scrum Professional ScrumMaster certification with the Scrum Alliance, you must meet the following requirements:

Hold the Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) status

Have two years experience working as a Scrum Master
This course requires a minimum attendance of 16 hours. As long as the CSP-SM prerequisites are met, full attendance and participation will result in registration as a Certified Scrum Professional ScrumMaster.
Exam
There is no exam required to earn this certification, but in order to register for your CSP-SM certification, you will need the following:
- Hold a valid A-CSM certificate
- Before attending the training, we request that you complete the CSP-SM pre-course work. It is important that you do this to get the most from your training.
- Complete the Certified Scrum Professional ScrumMaster course trained by a path to CSP Educator
- Validate at least 24 months of work experience specific to the accountability of Scrum Master (from within the past five years) and upload your role-specific expertise to your Scrum Alliance profile.
This course is accredited by the Scrum Alliance®, and on successful completion of this class and it’s learning objectives; participants will receive the Certified Scrum Professional ScrumMaster® certification.

John McFadyen
John started in software development in 2002 and became involved the world of Agile and Scrum shortly after, first as a developer and later and a Scrum Master.
He became a Certified Enterprise Coach in 2015, served on the first review panel for Certified Team Coach from 2015 to 2018, and a Certified Scrum Trainer in 2018. John’s area of focus is on Scrum Master and Agile Coach development, from first steps all the way through the journey to mastery.

Cancellation is possible up to two weeks before the start of a course without cost. After that point, the full course fee is due regardless of whether the registered person participates in the course. Participants can be substituted without charge.
