Professional Development Units (PDU’s) & Scrum Education Unit’s (SEU’s)

PDUs and SEUs are credits awarded by the Project Management Institute and the Scrum Alliance.

What are Scrum Education Units (SEU’s)

A Scrum Education Unit® (SEU®) is a credit earned by completing an educational training or learning opportunity that furthers your knowledge as a Scrum practitioner.

When determining whether SEUs are warranted, the Scrum Alliance take into consideration factors such as content, quality, and accuracy of material. SEUs follow a 1:1 ratio, where one hour of participation or preparation is equal to one SEU.

You can read more about SEU’s and how to submit them in the Scrum Alliance’s support articles.

Professional Development Units

Professional Development Units (PDUs) are the measure used to quantify approved learning and professional service activities for PMI Credentials. One hour of instruction related to project management, program management, project risk, project scheduling or agile project management equals 1 PDU. PDUs can be reported in 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75 increments.

You have to apply for your own credits through the PMI CCRS (Continuous Certification Requirement System). Agile Centre is not a PMI Registered Education Provider (REP), therefore you will have to manually add us as your course provider when applying for credits.

You can read more about PDU’s and how to submit them in the PMI’s support articles.
