This interactive meetup discusses the reasons for change in the meetup attendee’s organisations, discusses some of the main aspects of the book and finishes with a Q&A session around anti-patterns and Patterns for Business Agility.
About the Speaker
Jon assists organisations across industries to deliver Better Value, Sooner, Safer, and Happier, leading Business Agility at Deloitte. Prior to this, Jon was Head of Ways of Working across Barclays Bank globally, which is 328 years old, with 80,000 colleagues in 40 countries. Over a three-year time period, on average teams were delivering 3x as much in 1/3rd of the time with 23x fewer incidents and with the highest ever colleague engagement and consistently high customer Net Promoter Scores.
Jon has 25+ years experience of taking and leading an agile approach to change, starting out as a developer on an investment banking trading floor in the early 90s. Jon is a delivery practitioner and servant leader. He and his team is the winner in the category of “Best Internal Agile Team” and runner-up for “Most Valued Agile Professional (UK) “ at the Agile Awards 2016.
Jon Smart is the founder of the Enterprise Agility Transformation Leaders Network, is a member of the Programming Committee for the DevOps Enterprise Summit, a member of the Business Agility Institute advisory council and the Disciplined Agile advisory council, and is an occasional guest speaker at London Business School.
